Project Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client wishes to cancel a project before any design or site work has started:

A partial refund may be issued after deducting administrative and consultation costs.

If design work, site visits, or planning have already been initiated, relevant charges will be deducted.

Refund eligibility will depend on the specific project agreement.
Cancellation After Design Approval
Once final design concepts, drawings, or BOQs have been approved:

Design fees become non-refundable, as the work has already been completed.

If the client cancels after approval but before execution begins, material procurement and labor planning expenses may be deducted.
Cancellation After Execution Has Started
If project execution or on-site work has begun:

Refunds are not applicable on completed work.

Any materials purchased specifically for the project cannot be refunded.

Labor charges for completed stages will be deducted from any amount paid.

If additional payments are due based on work progress, the client must settle the balance.
Material Purchases
Materials (tiles, boards, lights, hardware, fabrics, etc.) sourced or purchased for the project:

Are typically non-refundable, as suppliers may not accept returns.

Any returnable items will follow the supplier’s specific return policy, if available.

Transportation and handling fees may apply.
Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved:

Processing may take 7–14 business days.

Refunds will be issued through bank transfer or the original payment method.

Clients will receive a confirmation once the refund is processed.
Project Delays Caused by the Client
If delays occur due to the client’s decisions, unavailability, or site access issues:

No refund will be issued for time lost.

Additional charges may apply for extended labor or rescheduling.
Changes in Scope
If the client changes the project scope (design, materials, layout, etc.):

Additional costs may apply.

Refunds will not be issued for previously approved and completed work.
Force Majeure
Iconic Spaces BD is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, such as:

Natural disasters

Political unrest
-
Market shutdowns

Supplier shortages
Refund decisions in such cases will be evaluated based on work progress and actual costs incurred.
Non-Refundable Items & Fees
The following are non-refundable:

Consultation fees

Design fees after concept delivery

Fees for completed labor
-
Customized or made-to-order materials
-
External contractor or supplier payments
-
Government or regulatory fees (if applicable)
Disputes & Resolution
In case of disputes regarding cancellations or refunds:

Both parties agree to attempt resolution through discussion and negotiation.

If unresolved, the matter will follow the legal jurisdiction of Bangladesh.

Iconic Spaces BD reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website with a revised effective date.
